What can I request?
Anything within reason: original characters, pets, fantasy scenes, cozy moments, whimsical concepts. I’ll interpret your idea in the chosen style while keeping it colour-friendly.
What should I include in my description?
To get the best result, include:
- Who/what is in the scene (and how many characters)
- Setting + mood (cozy, spooky-cute, heroic, dreamy, etc.)
- Key props/symbols (keep it focused)
- Any “must-have” details you don’t want missed
- Reference images are optional.
Can I upload reference images?
Yes! Feel free to email me your reference images (max. 5MB) at louis@whimsytales.com, and please mention your order number in the subject line.
Are revisions included?
No. Whimsy Wish is a surprise-box style service. You’re commissioning the idea and the style — and I’m choosing the final composition and design choices.
Style guarantee: I will keep the art style consistent with the tier you selected, and it will always be
How long does it take?
Typical turnaround is about 2 weeks from when your order is processed (and your brief is complete).
How many slots are available?
To keep everything hand-drawn, I’m starting with 20 slots per month. When they’re gone, they’re gone.
What is the final deliverable?
A high-resolution black & white PDF, optimized for printing.
Can I share my finished colouring on social media?
Yes! Personal use includes printing, colouring, and sharing your coloured results online. Please credit Whimsy Tales as the original artist (tagging is appreciated).
Can I use it commercially?
No. This purchase is personal use only. That means:
- No selling prints or products
- No merch, book interiors, covers, ads, or brand assets
- No redistribution of the lineart files
You’re buying a personal-use license; I retain the artwork copyright.
Can I request NSFW scenes?
No. Unfortunately, NSFW stuff is not true to my whimsical vision and Whimsy Tales brand.
Refunds & cancellations
- Cancellations within 24 hours of placing the order are refundable.
- After ~24 hours (once the order is processed and scheduled), no refunds are available.
